How orders work
Straightforward rules so you know exactly what to expect before you place an order.
Turnaround time
Most standard prints are completed within 2-5 business days after the order is approved.
Larger prints, multi-part jobs, or high-detail pieces may take longer depending on print time and queue load. You will be given an estimated completion time before printing starts.
Rush jobs may be available depending on current workload.
Order process
- You submit a file or request through the order page
- The job is reviewed for printability and estimated
- You receive a quote with material, time, and cost
- Printing begins only after approval
If something in the file looks like it may fail or cause issues, you will be contacted before printing.
File responsibility
You are responsible for the design and function of your file. The print will be produced based on what is submitted.
Basic checks are performed to catch obvious issues, but this is not full engineering validation.
If you are unsure about fit, strength, or tolerances, include notes when submitting your order.
Materials and finish
All parts are 3D printed and will have visible layer lines. This is normal and part of the process.
Different materials behave differently:
- PLA - clean detail, best for general use and display
- PETG - stronger and more durable, good for functional parts
- ABS - heat resistant and suited for tougher environments
Minor surface variation, seam lines, and slight imperfections can occur and are not considered defects.
Reprints and issues
If a print fails due to a machine or process error, it will be reprinted at no cost.
If a part matches the submitted file but does not meet your expectations due to design, fit, or function, it is not eligible for a free reprint.
If there is a problem, reach out and it will be reviewed case-by-case.
Pricing
Pricing is based on material usage, print time, and complexity.
Multi-color prints and specialty materials may increase cost.
A minimum charge may apply to very small jobs.
Final pricing is always confirmed before printing begins.
Pickup and delivery
Local pickup may be available depending on location.
Shipping options can be arranged at the time of order.
Packaging is done to protect the part during transit, but rough handling by carriers is outside of control.
Custom work
Custom parts, one-off designs, and prototype work are welcome.
If you do not have a file, you can describe what you need and a solution can be worked out.
Questions
If anything is unclear before placing an order, ask first. It is easier to get it right up front than fix it later.
